From Hope to Action

Our Projects

At Yahweh Foundation International, we believe hope becomes most powerful when it is followed by action. Our projects are designed around real needs identified within the communities we serve. We begin by listening, understanding the need, and working alongside local people to create solutions that protect dignity and build opportunity. Our journey begins in Sierra Leone with education.

Build Hope

A Safe Place to Learn

Every child deserves more than a lesson. Every child deserves a safe place to receive it.

While preparing for Yahweh Foundation International's first educational outreach in Sierra Leone, our local team encountered a learning space that changed the direction of our mission.

Children were being educated in a makeshift structure constructed largely from zinc sheets. Inside were simple wooden benches and limited classroom resources.

Yet despite the conditions, education continued. Teachers continued to teach. Children continued to learn. And that perseverance deserves to be met with action.

Build Hope is Yahweh Foundation International's first school-building initiative — created to help transform Evangelica Missionary Primary School into a safer, stronger, and more dignified space where children can focus on learning, growing, and dreaming.

Our goal is not extravagance. Our goal is dignity.

What we're working toward

  • A secure structure
  • A proper roof
  • Safe classrooms
  • Appropriate seating
  • Essential learning resources
  • A place children and educators can be proud to enter

Help Us Build More Than a School. Help Us Build Hope.

The School Behind the Mission

Evangelica Missionary Primary School

This is where our journey begins.

These photographs were taken during our first visit to Evangelica Missionary Primary School in Kline Town, Sierra Leone. We met with school leadership, listened to their vision, and witnessed both the challenges and the incredible resilience of this community.

Every classroom, every bench, and every lesson reminds us why this mission matters.

Our goal is not simply to improve a building — it is to invest in the future of every child who walks through these doors.

Areas of Focus

What Hope Looks Like Here

Hope here is practical. It looks like children having a safe place to learn, a desk to sit at, books to open, clean water to drink, and an environment where education can flourish. As we continue working with school leadership, these are among the areas guiding our assessment and planning.

01

Safe Learning Spaces

Supporting the development of safer, more adequate classroom environments for a growing student population.

02

Desks & Classroom Furniture

Helping create learning spaces where students can sit, write, read, and participate comfortably.

03

Books & School Supplies

Providing essential learning materials that help students arrive prepared and ready to learn.

04

Water & Sanitation

Exploring sustainable solutions for access to clean water and safe, dignified sanitation facilities.

05

Access to Education

Working to understand barriers that prevent children from attending school and exploring responsible ways to support educational access.

"Hope is not a promise we make lightly. It is something we intend to build responsibly."

Our Approach

Our Path Forward

Meaningful change requires more than good intentions. Our approach begins with listening, continues with responsible action, and grows through accountability, partnership, and long-term planning.

01

Listen & Assess

Work directly with school leadership to document current conditions, verify needs, understand priorities, and gather the information necessary to make responsible decisions.

02

Respond With Purpose

Begin with practical, achievable support based on verified needs — including educational supplies, learning resources, classroom support, and other immediate priorities identified through our assessment.

03

Build for the Future

Develop a responsible long-term plan for stronger educational infrastructure as needs are verified and the necessary permissions, partnerships, resources, and funding are secured.

"We are not arriving with promises. We are arriving with a commitment to listen, serve, and stay."

Back-to-School Hope Drive

Equipping Children to Begin

Before Build Hope had a name, there were notebooks.

Yahweh Foundation International's journey began with a simple personal commitment: provide backpacks filled with essential school supplies to children who might otherwise begin the school year without them.

Family members, friends, and supporters began joining the mission—contributing notebooks, pencils, erasers, crayons, sharpeners, and other educational essentials.

The Back-to-School Hope Drive continues alongside Build Hope because constructing a classroom is only part of the mission. Children also need the tools to learn once they walk through its doors.

Our goal is to provide children with thoughtfully prepared backpacks containing essential educational supplies that help them begin their learning journey prepared, encouraged, and reminded that someone believes in their future.

One Mission. Two Needs.

Build Hope creates the place.

Back-to-School Hope Drive helps provide the tools.

Together, they represent Opportunity. Environment. Resources. Encouragement. Hope.
